Assalam u Alaikum Everyone,![]()
Alhamdulillah, we successfully concluded our Unlocking the Self with Quran – Part 2 session. It was a beautiful gathering of fathers and sons coming together with sincerity, eagerness to learn, and a shared desire to strengthen their connection with the Quran.![]()
During the session, we explored Surah Saba and discussed several key themes, including:![]()
🔹 The importance of thanking and praising Allah for His blessings![]()
🔹 The capabilities of jinn compared to humans![]()
🔹 Insights into the chemistry and knowledge around metallurgy![]()
🔹 Lessons from the People of Saba, their behaviour, and how it contrasts with the guidance and conduct of Prophet Suleman (AS) and Prophet Dawood (AS)![]()
🔹 Understanding Qiyamah, and why Allah does not punish nations immediately after they commit sins![]()
One of the most heart-warming aspects of the event was the active participation of the kids, their curiosity, reflections, and engagement truly added a beautiful, soul-warming touch to the session.![]()
The atmosphere was filled with warmth, learning, and bonding, exactly what we hoped this program would achieve. Fathers and sons connected deeply through discussions, reminders, and shared reflections.![]()
A big thank you to all the families who attended, and a special appreciation to our volunteers for their dedication and efforts.![]()
May Allah make these gatherings a means of spiritual growth for our families and strengthen our connection with the Quran. Aameen.![]()

People attended the dawah and tarabriyyah programs were organized during the session 2020-21 by team iCAN.
iCAN is a leading grass root organization in Australia and New Zealand which aims to support the local Muslim population through education, training and development, social cohesion and community bonding. It runs many projects, programs, and activities which are designed to infuse a positive change in individuals as well as the broader society.
